ROSIE ABSEILS FOR CHARITY

Manager with the Hunnyhill Stores Group Raises Money For Age UK

Rosie Knight, a manager with the Hunnyhill Stores Group on the Isle of Wight, abseiled down the iconic Spinnaker tower in Portsmouth to raise money for charity.

Rosie, who is general manager for a group of SPAR stores on the island, was one of a number of adrenaline-seeking fundraisers who abseiled 100 metres down the side of the tower to raise money for Age UK Isle of Wight.

The charity ensures that people aged 50 and above living on the island are recognised, celebrated and supported either through direct service provision or by working in partnership with others.

Hunnyhill Stores Group employs more than 120 people throughout the Isle of Wight. It opened its first SPAR store on the island 15 years ago and now has 14 outlets in various locations.
